The Town of Greeneville is governed by the City Council. The documents that outline governance for the City Council are the Town Charter and the Municipal Code (through 05-03-2022). These two documents outline the groups that assist the City Council in the form of boards, commissions, and authorities.

Open Positions

Currently, we have two (2) open positions on the Historic Zoning Commission. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 8, 2024.

There is one (1) open position on the Industrial Development Board of Greene County. To be eligible, you must be qualified to vote in an election of the municipality. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
